BUILDING
I've worked in founding engineering roles at early-stage startups, building products from nothing and staying with them as they grew. Now I'm a founder myself. I like the part where an idea becomes something people actually use.
SCOPE
Frontend, backend, infrastructure, product — I've done all of it and I still like moving between them. I've helped take engineering teams from three people to more than a hundred, and I've learned that the technology is only half of it.
AI
I've shipped AI systems across text, voice, and media, from first prototype to production. That means chatbots, voice agents, and multi-agent workflows, with the guardrails, evaluation, and monitoring it takes to keep them dependable.
OUTSIDE
When I'm not working I'm climbing, playing badminton or padel, at the gym, or on a video game. I spend a lot of time with family and friends, and I have two cats who get more attention than they need.
skills
The tools change. Here's what I've done with them.
Day to day I work in TypeScript and Python — React and Next.js on the front end, Node or FastAPI on the back, Postgres and Redis underneath, AWS and Docker for the rest. Lately most of my time goes into LLM systems: retrieval, agents, evaluation, and the plumbing that keeps them honest.
Cut infrastructure spend by about $3K a month by pulling a documents system out of a monolith into its own service.

Every fact carries its source, and conflicts between sources get flagged instead of buried. It is built and working end to end, and human-in-the-loop by design: it prepares the file, the person makes the call.

Co-founded Hypothesis AI as the sole technical founder, building a voice AI platform for DTC e-commerce brands. The agents handled sales, support, and feedback collection. A RAG system over the product catalogue answered customer questions in real time, and agents improved by learning from each interaction. Handled 160,000+ calls with an average duration of 62 seconds, reached a 25% conversion rate, and generated $600K+ in client revenue.

Built an employee benefits platform from the ground up: four role-specific frontend applications on one backend. I also ran hiring, growing the team from just me to four engineers and product people.

Built an enterprise platform for trade service referrals from scratch as part of a three-person founding team. Built a multilingual WhatsApp chatbot that processed video and audio to reduce drop-offs for technicians, plus analytics dashboards tracking KPIs across every user segment.

Moved to the Core Team as the company grew fast and the monolith showed strain. Led the documents system out of the monolith into its own service, cutting infrastructure costs by $3K a month, and built a document verification service that cut onboarding by 2.5 days. Led a Node.js upgrade across 50+ services with zero downtime. As Scrum Master, reduced cycle time from four days to one. Mentored engineers as the team scaled from 50 to 100+.

Joined a special projects team working directly with the CEO and Head of Engineering. Built an MVP for a healthcare job portal from scratch, ran social media for user acquisition, and built competitor analysis tools. Contributed to hiring as the team scaled from 20 to 50+.

Built a marketing platform from scratch so businesses could create and distribute ads across social platforms without a design team. Wrote two algorithms: one made ads more effective by learning audience preferences, the other analysed campaign performance. Built a WhatsApp chatbot that let small business owners create ads by message. Hired and mentored three engineers and a designer.

Later co-led digital marketing, cutting spend by 50% while holding acquisition costs. I studied computer science at VIT, graduating in 2018. For my final project I built a small IoT device that detected irregular heart rhythms from ECG readings. I played football and was part of the literary society. Mostly, it taught me how to keep learning.
